RRB NTPC 1st Stage CBT 2019-20 Exam Pattern

- Duration of the Exam is 1 hour 30 minutes (2 Hours for PwBD Candidates)
- There will be negative marking and 1/3 mark shall be deducted for each wrong answer.
- The normalised 1st stage CBT score should be used for the pre-selection of 2nd stage CBT candidates based on their merit.
- Minimum percentage of marks for eligibility in various categories: UR-40%, EWS40%, OBC (Non creamy layer) -30%, SC-30%, ST-25%. These percentages of marks for eligibility may be relaxed by 2% for PwBD candidates in case of shortage of PwBD candidates against vacancies reserved for them.
Selection Process for RRB NTPC CBT 1
The railway will hire candidates based on the performance of candidates for the 1st stage computer test (CBT), the 2nd stage computer test (CBT), the typing skill test / computer aptitude test (if applicable) ) and document verification / medical examination. The candidate who qualifies in the first round will be called upon to continue the recruitment process.
The final shortlisted candidates will be hired for the post of Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, Junior Time Keeper, Trains Clerk, Commercial cum Ticket Clerk, Goods Guard, Junior Account Assistant cum Typist, Station Master etc.
